Professional Experience

Isabel Domeyko offers a decade of experience in urban economics, with broad expertise in technical analysis, project management, and business development.  She has managed a wide spectrum of complex consulting assignments in the fields of public finance and real estate economics throughout northern California, working on large-scale master plan communities, retail sites, business parks, and other individual projects.

Isabel also specializes in market projection analysis, which she has applied to urban decay studies, absorption studies, and general plan updates.  She has analyzed the potential impact of proposed big-box retail projects on other existing retail districts, projected local tax revenues that could be generated by proposedretail projects, forecasted demand for additional commercial space over time, and explored the potential commercial synergies that could develop from a new special use, such as a horserace track.

Isabel’s comprehensive understanding of land-use economics also allows her to provide decision-support on any number of other special assignments.  For example, she helped create a multi-layered, decision-making process for the expenditure of a 20-40 year stream of grant funds derived from a State of California dam relicensing.  She has also prepared a financing strategy for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions over a 10-year timeframe.
